Professional Responsibilities
Year 2
My professional responsibilities for the 2019-2020 school year include but are not limited to:
1. Plan curriculum each day for three sections of Living Environment and one section of Health 1st semester.
2. Teacher on duty in the Student Center 4th period second semester.
3. Teacher of Record of 9 students.
4. Plan and create all weekly quizzes for 3 sections of living environment (semesters 1 & 2), and all bi-weekly quizzes for Health (semester 1).
5. Instruct class everyday for L.E. (semesters 1 & 2) and Health first semester.
6. Plan, create, and implement instructional packets (gen ed and spec ed), lessons, and review materials for living environment classes as well as health class.
7. Provide extra help twice a week to all students for all living environment classes.
8. Provide extra support for L.E. students during off periods 9 all year, and 1st period the second half of the year.
9. Graded all midterms for all students in all 3 ICT sections.
10. Created and implemented all review material for all students of our classes, preparing them for the L.E. midterm and regents..
11. Created and graded Health midterm and final exams.
12. Take daily attendance in Health and Biology for all students in all classes.
13. Remain up-to-date with emails, meetings, and procedures of the building.
14. Maintain and initiate up-to-date emails from colleagues about my students and student planning.
15. Maintain a consistent schedule which includes planning meetings with collaborative teachers of all the students I teach.
16. As a special education teacher I'm responsible to meet the needs of each student by working regularly on IEP's goals
and objectives SC Health and ICT Biology.
17. Maintain regular communication with my SORs teachers and parents.
18. I schedule and conduct 10-week meetings for any students who needs it.
19. Collaborate regularly with my colleagues during my professional development period for SC and ICT classes.
20. Plan for and schedule Annual Review Meetings and CSE meetings for my SORs.
21. Write 9 IEP's for my SORs.
22. Plan and conduct Parent Teacher Night for my classes.
23. Plan and conduct Parent Teacher Conferences.
24. Proctor Midterms and Regents exams at East.
25. Attend special education meetings monthly at CO
26. Attend all monthly faculty meetings at East.
27. Update IEP goals and objectives quarterly.
28. Update progress reports quarterly.
29. Complete 12 hours of PDP.
